Morrisons and World Curry Festival to Promote International Cuisine in Yorkshire
World Curry Festival is delighted to announce a new partnership with Morrison. The supermarket, which is the fourth largest in the UK, as well as the country’s second largest fresh food manufacturer, will be supporting the festival to raise the profile of international cuisine in Yorkshire.
Morrisons Local director, Rebecca Singleton said:: “One of Morrisons priorities is to be involved in local communities and so we’re delighted to be part of a festival in our home city which celebrates fresh cooking and expert food making. As a Bradford based business we know that curry is a city staple and look forward to trying out some World Curry Festivals dishes.”
Zulfi Karim, founder of the World Curry Festival commented: “The Festival is all about bringing people together to enjoy good food, explore new ideas, and to learn how to cook a healthy, affordable meal. By working with Morrisons, we have access to some of the most knowledgeable food experts in the region, and the world. We are looking forward to sharing new ideas and recipes, and forging new relationships across our networks.”
World Curry Festival will take place across Bradford and Leeds from 15 – 29 September 2016. To view the full programme of events visit: www.worldcurryfestival.com/events.
